TuristeAR — Tourism Mobile App
Context
TuristeAR is an app to discover tourist attractions and activities in Argentina by location. Providers publish their activities through in-app subscription plans, and users find them, save them and contact the provider.
The app is in testing through internal builds and includes an admin panel to manage users, activities and reports.
Technical decisions & challenges

Row-level security in Supabase
Permissions for users, providers and admins are enforced with PostgreSQL RLS policies, verified with pgTAP tests against a local Supabase stack before each migration is applied.

Mercado Pago payments in Edge Functions
Payment preference creation, the webhook and the payment return run in Supabase Edge Functions, and the app resumes the right flow through deep links.

Image uploads with signed URLs
Activity images are uploaded to Cloudflare R2 through signed URLs generated on the server, so the app uploads straight to storage without handling any keys.
